Show Emery County Progress Tuesday, November 5, 1991 5A BUSINE Holdiay Festival set for The Emery County Chamber of Commerce is hoping that Emery County residents will stay at home and shop at home during the Thanksgiving weekend coming up later s this month. The chamber has planned a Nov. 29 at 11 a.m. Sponsors indicate that We are not only looking for people to watch the parade, Holiday Festival for Friday, Nov. 29, the day after Thanksgiving. It includes a parade, crafts, turning on the Christmas lights and a visit from Santa Claus. On Friday, Nov. 29, in Castle Dale, the parade begins we are looking for people to put floats in the parade. On that day, there will be arts and crafts for sale in the new museum. Those wishing to rent booths may do so for $5. Also, the chamber is planning to award two trophies one for the best decorated home and one for the best decorated business in the county. We want all the county residents to participate in our lighting festival by decorating their homes and yards. Each city will have their park decorated that there will be an enjoyable time for all, a chamber spokesperson said. Judging for the best lights will be Saturday, Dec. 21, so 1991.
