The group met in the Salt Palace for two days of workshops and meetings. Part of the group performed for the elementary tract that hosted 4,000 elementary students on Thursday. Fifteen students left Emery County with their advisor Emery Jones and his wife Wednesday after school. Part of this group opened a portion of the Thursday elementary conference at 9 a.m. with the same puppet show that they have been performing all around Emery County. The High puppeteers (Tammy Peacock, Jill Stilson, Deb Draney, Melinda Judi and Paula Thompson) put on the puppet show twice on Emery Oveson, Jessica Oveson, Casey Pahl and Lynnsey Slanina. On Monday, April 22, there was a boys basketball banquet. All of the boys on the team and their parents were invited. Crystal 11 A Tuesday, April 23, 1991 Matt Trenery Players of the Week at Emery High are junior Cassi Robinson and seniors Matt Trenery and Brodie Barnes. Cassi led her softball team to two wins over Union, pitching in each and hitting for two triples and five RBI. Matt led Emery to a track win at Carbon with first place wins in the 3,200 and 800 meters. Brodie doubled in the sixth inning against Carbon to drive in the tying run and then hit a sacrifice fly in the eighth to drive in the winning run as he had two RBI in the Spartan region win in baseball.
