Show 2A Emery County Progress Tuesday, April 9, 1991 Musical (Continued from Page 1) Jewish dances with bottles on the heads of the dancers and some traditional Russian dances. Another strong point of the play, according to the director, was the cooperative efforts of the directors: Mr. Peacock, Mrs. Johansen, Stan Colby and Randy Orwin. It was a real compatible situation for us, Mr. Peacock said. He also praised the work of the stage crew in keeping the scene changes so short desite moving massive amounts of scenery. That kept the play even shorter. If there was a weakness, he pointed out, it was probably the ur length of the play. Now that the musical is over, no plans have been made for a combined effort in future productions. However, its always a possibility, especially if the right musical comes along. For now, Community Theatre is planning a summer production while the high school will begin rehearsal in the fall for a musical. It turned out to be a very positive experience for everyone, Mr. Peacock said. I think the high school kids learned a lot from the adults and the adults learned a few things from the students."
