Recently in LDS Church , Douglas Huntington, son of LeRay and Joan Hunting-to- n was advanced, to a Priest in the Aar-on- lc Priesthood. The past Sunday, Dean Whimpey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis was ordained a Preist in the Aar-on- ic Priesthood. Also in LDS Church along with other program, the Emery County High school group of the All State Chorus sang. An Aaronic Priesthood Father and son Banquet will be held in the Emery stake House on Nov. 30 . Aaronic Priesthood youth are urged to attend and bring a grandfather, uncle or friend. Also everyone should bring their own dishes. BYU Track Coach Clarence Robison is scheduled as the guest speaker. Our community was saddened by the death of two fine citizens the past week. Mr. Earl Robertson, who has been in a Salt Lake hospital for some time; and the sudden death of Mr. Miles B. Davis. Funeral for Mr. Robertson will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. and Mrs. Davis will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Wilcox, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Wilcox and family from here, Mr and Mrs. Vaughn Frandsen, Mrs. Beth Cox and Marquita Cox, of Castle Dale Mr. and Mrs. Jay Frandsen of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wilcox of Salt Lake, drove to Grand junction the past week to attend the wedding and reception of the Delbert Wilcox grand daughter, Connie Graff, daughter of Mr and Mrs. William Graff, to Mr. Steve Johnson of Provo. This was also a reunion for the Wilcox family as all members of their family were present. Most of them returned home before the storm came.
