Mrs. Alta singleton and Myron are visiting in Boulder, Colo., with Altas mother Mrs. Ethel Brown. Mrs. Brown is an invalid and is unable to leave her home. Miss Charlene Wild, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Wild spent a few days during the week visiting with her family. The Emery stake High Priest held their annual party here Friday evening with a good crowd attending. The south part of the stake furnished the dinner and the north part of the stake prepared the program. High Priest group leader Fred Van Buren and assistant Louis Whimpey were In charge of the event. Mrs. Oriole Jewkes spent a day with the Glen Willensen family of Granger the past week. This week another daughter Mrs. Bel-ro- se Hunt of Salt Lake is herevisltingher mother, Mrs. Oriole Jewkes. Here for a few days visiting parents Mr. and Mrs. Don Jewkes and grand mother Mrs. Mary Jewkes, are Mr. and Mrs. Earl Jewkes and baby, just home from the service for a short time. Earl has been stationed in Alabama recently and his wife and baby have been near him. They will visit her folks in Green River and other relatives before Earl has to report back to his commanding officer, which will be in Texas. Fifteen holders of restricted permits will go after their quarry on the Heaston Unit in the Oquirrh Mountains in Salt Lake, Tooele and Utah counties. The Permits are for bulls only. Bull elk are defined as animals with antlers more than five inches in length.
