Show EMERY COUNTY (UTAH) PROGRESS October 29, 1939 were in Salt Lake Thursday to attend the funeral of Mrs. An- -' dersons brother. Dr. J. B. Bearnson, who died of a heart attack. Dr. Bearnson was teaching school in Mississippi when he was stricken. Castle Dale News Mrs. Ida Snow Ward Relief Society conference was held Sunday evening. A lovely program was presented to an appreciative audience. Mrs. Yvonne Jorgensen represented the stake officers. Special musical numbers were rendered by the sirging mothers under the direction of Mrs. Pearl Barton with Yvonne Jorgensen as accompan'ist. Speakers were President Mildred Rasmu s s e n, Emeline Jewkes, Adella Jorgensen, Zada Bell, Ona Tuttle, Kofford, Carolyn Bott and Bishop Peterson. New class leaders sustained were Zada Bell as work meeting leader, Ona Tuttle as literature leader, Kofford and Ada Magnu-so- n as social science leaders. Other officers remain as of last year. Mrs. Sara Anderson and Mrs. Stella Jeff came down from Provo Sunday. They returned Wednesday.
