The decision document, known as a Find-inof No Significant Impact (FONSI), is available for review at the Natural Bridges National Monument headquarters, HC 60, Box 1, Lake Powell, Utah 84533-000- 1 and at the Southeast Utah Group office, 2282 S. West Resource Blvd., Moab, Utah 84532. The document is also g at www.nps govnabr. Improvements at the monument posted will include construction of a trail from the campground to the visitor center, rehabilitation of the campground amphitheater, and replacement of tables and shade structures in the picnic area. The improvements will remedy inadequacies of the existing facilities for increased levels of visitation. The new trail will reduce the safety hazard caused by campers walking on the park road to reach the visitor cen- - ter, and the improvements at the amphitheater will provide adequate lighting and seating, and replace other aging facilities. New picnic tables, shade structures, and a wheel ramp will replace exworn-ou- t isting equipment at the picnic area Environmental impacts of the projxiHcd actions and alternative were previously analyzes! in an environmental assessment Work will liegin this summer, and will lie partially fundid through the Recreational Fee Program chair-accessibl- e Demon-stratio- ami Merlin Willnmis" Brad Ankrum ,s mij The1 Cougars (oiiielcd tournaments ibis sea-.im r I I The- Cougars could not have at tended the amount of tour nainent they did without the support of many sjron.sors.
