Show Page A5 Robert Taylor died July 26 -- - lhg Thursday, Aug ust 3, 2000 Fishing Obituaries Charles Lavoir Jenks Robert B. (Bob) Taylor, former Moab resident and son of A. A. (Peck) Taylor and Estella Newell Taylor, Charles Lavcir Jenks, 73, of Juhl, Id., died Tuesday, July 25, 2000, in a Twin Falls hospital following a long illness. Charles was born Apr. 20, 1926, in Logan, Ut. the third son of Asael and Mable Smith Jenks. He spent his young life in Utah and Idaho. He married Dona Wood Jenks, Sept. 2, 1950. They moved to California in 1957, where Charles then worked in a variety of fields. In 1963 he and his family moved to Santa Barbara where he worked for Hobart, the parent company of Kitchen Aid. Later he worked for Santa Barbara Research, from which he retired in 1985. He moved to Castle Valley near Moab where he passed away in Grand Junction, Colo, at the VA Hospital on July 26, 2000. Born July 7, 1927 in Moab, he graduated from Grand County High School in 1945. Bob served his country during World War II in the Navy, and was an excellent cabinetmaker and contractor by trade. He is survived by two brothers, Homer of Blanding, and Tim of Grand Junction. He was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers. No services are planned at his will be in Grand request.
