Show Fine String Of Saddle Horses at Academy Marv Dunbar, the man who does a lot of high class entertaining at the leading rodeos of this section of the country and who has performed for the crowds at Madison Square Garden, Is in charge of the Open' Air Riding Academy in Logan where there is housed some of the finest saddle horses ,!n 'the country. A visit to the academy at. about 255 North, 2nd West stree will bear out what has been said. These horses are variously galted and are gentle to ride. Mr. Dunbar, In addition to the horses he has for hire, is care taker for some very Interesting saddlers He. has a very attractive two year old stallion in his charge. Marv calls It an Applachlon. It is white with blue eyes, its skin Is bluish pink with white mane and tail. It 1s bred for a trick horse. Drs. Clyde and Orson Dailies, each have a well bred American saddler at the stables. They are both thorobreds. Gilbert Mecham, U. S. Marshall also has a fine colt under the care of Mr. Dunbar. It has all the ear marks of a good saddler. Its father is the Arabian stallion which Sylvan Peterson of Benson has in charge. A fine bay saddler belonging to A. H. Thompson, the automobile man, is an attractive fellow. He is at the Dunbar stables. In the collection is the half thorobred Jumping owned horse of Mendon. by Florence Wood This horse took third place as the states best jumper at the US AC recently. Then there Is a black saddler that belongs to Irvine Skeen of Salt Lake. The horse is In charge of Mr. Dunbar and is used by Miss Skeen who is a student at the USAC. A beautiful sorrel and bay are in the stables and are tot hire. The stables used are neaUy kept and the horses are given the best of care. They are kept stabled in box stalls.
