Ruptured Appendix Broke Collar Bone Ray Barney of Benson, son of Joseph Barney, had the misfortune to break his collar bone on Monday. He was coming to Logan to attend the celebration and when the truck on which he was riding rounded a corner he fell to the ground with the above results. A doctor set the broken bone but the young man was unable to participate in the festivities of the day. Warren, 19, son of Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Bassett of , Wellsville, is in a hospital, suffering from a ruptured appendix. The young man was brought to Logan Monday and is being given every possible attention. Mrs. Bassett, his mother, has been at his bedside constantly since coming to Logan. It seems It never rains but It pours.
