The visitors arrived in the United States from Germany just recently and do not speak English, although one of the girls understands it a little. The Ottosens have corresponded with them and sent them gifts for several years. Contact was first made when one of the Ottosens gift packages for European War Orphans was given to the family, who wrote the donors a letter of thanks in the German language. A reply followed in English with each family seeking the aid of interpreters to read their letters. Wilkens for a few days.
