During the year. 30 clubs with 192 members, which includes 26 boys and 166 girls, and 44 leaders, have carried on one of the most active programs in work. I would .the history of like to take this opportunity to extend my humble appreciation to. all those who have contributed to the success of the program, and this includes club members, leaders, parents and various clubs, organizations, business establishments and other individuals who have added much to its outstanding success. Following is the information, most of which was taken from my annual report, as requested by the newspapers of Duchesne County, "which also have added greatly to our progress: GIRLS' CLUB WORK r .Twenty-sigirls clubs conducted organized work with an enrollment of 166 members. One hundred forty-thremembers ' 4-- 4-- 4-- H completed their project work this year in Foods, Clothing and Home Improvement. There were girls clubs in the following communities: Bluebell - 4; Roosevelt - 7; Ioka - 2; Arcadia - 3; Mt. Emmons - 1; Mt. Home - 1; Talmage - 2; Tabiona -- ' 6. ' - Local voluntary leaders serving were as follows: Ioka - Sally Nelson, Roene Lemon, Selma Lloyd; Bluebell Agnes Larsen, Lois Goodrich, Irene Berrett, Essie Lambert, Marvis Williams. Laura Seeley; Talmage - Grace Taylor, Bertha Anderson; Mt. Home - Anna Belle Thayne; Arcadia - Rose Gilbert, Ellen Gii- bert. Ora Holgate, Deon Bird; Roosevelt - Larene Blaine. Olive Chugg, Lurrine Alexander, Mildred Smith, Alberta Jensen, Billie Bair, Afton B. Livestock was exhibited at the Altamont Junior Show, and the Duchesne County ... Livestock Fair. Training in fitting, showing and judging was given to all club members. Handicraft consisted of braiding. Attendance was smaller this year, but it was a successful camp in many ways. NATIONAL WEEK Observance of National Club Week consisted of the following: (1) Information sent to the clubs of the county encouraging them to participate and suggestions for various activities. (2) A radio broadcast over KJAM. (3) Posters displayed in the business district. (4) An editorial and news article in the local paper. (5) A page In the local newspaper devoted entirely to advertising the Clubs.
