Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hadden and family, of Texas, have moved to Utahn for the summer. Glen is a former Utahn resident. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Strong were in Salt Lake on business during the week. Thomas Appah. who is attending school at the B.Y.U., Provo, spent the week-enwith d his parents. Mr. and Mrs. P. F. Abplanalp and son were dinner guests of their daughter and Mr, and Mrs. Dan Lewis, of Provo, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Smith, of Bridgeland, visited Mr. and Mrs. William Abplanalp during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Mayhew were called to Farmington Monday to be with Mr. Mayhews sister, who passed away Wednesday, Feb. 28. Funeral ser vices were held Saturday. We all extend deepest sympathy to the bereaved family. Mrs. Theron Robb returned home Friday after a visit with her daughter at Cedar City, where she went to get acquainted with her new grandson. Miss Marlene Brown hurt her leg while playing ball at school. She was taken to Duchesne for medical attention, and is much improved at this time. The theme was Harbor Lights of Home. The hall was beautifully decorated. Naomi Gilbert was crowned queen, with six flower girls Colleen .Bell, Jeanie Ross, Margie Ross, Rosalee Gilbert, Lucy Lusty and Mary Ellen Evans. Her attendants were Deon and Delaine Bird, Pauline Larsen, Marilyn Zirker, Joan Holgate and Merlynn Ross. Bishop Marion Ross crowned the queen; Lanny Ross was crown bearer, and Mrs. Grace Larson sang Harbor Lights. A delightful floor show was presented by the Gleaners, Junior Gleaners. Her husband is recovering from injuries suffered in a fall from a haystack about six weeks ago. His injuries included a broken leg. - Ted D. Nye has been chosen as the outstanding male senior student at Tabiona high school. He was honored at several places in Salt Lake over the week-enas a guest of the Salt Lake Rotary club, and represented the school at the Rotary Youth conference held in Salt Lake Sunday to Tuesday.
