Mr. and Mrs. Vern Hopkins and son, of Woodruff, transacted business at the Gilbert Beebe ranch Wednesday. The American Legion and Auxiliary entertained at a membership party at Altamont, Mon-danight. The evening was devoted to playing games and dancing. A bazaar was held and lunch was sold. A number of Altonahs young people attended the basketball games at Altamont Thursday night between Altamont and 3 Green River, and the Young Farmers and Duchesne. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Olsen have returned from Evanston, Wyo., and Carbon county, where Mr. Olsen has been hunting work. Jesse Fowler took Ed Davis to Roosevelt Thursday to stay for a few days while under the care of a doctor.
