With the assistance of the students, faculty members and local citizens, the first step was taken last spring when cement sidewalks Were poured around the building. The Duchesne county school board supplied the cement. Several tons of rick dirt have been hauled and spread around the grounds with the aid of five trucks, three tractors, two dirt loaders and one ploy, operated by students, teachers and school employees. The turkey shoot sponsored by the Myton City Lions club drew a large crowd to their targets a mile north of town and a short distance from Highway 40, Sunday. Competition was open to men, women and older children. Many nice birds were won to grace the Xmas dinner tables. The project was the start of a campaign to help bring Christmas cheer to all the homes of the community. Miss Nancy Todd, assistant to 3r. C. V. Zabriskie at the Medical Center in Duchesne, spent he week-en- d with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Todd, returning to Duchesne Sunday evening. J. A. Cedarquist, of Twin alls, Idaho, was transacting business here, Friday and Saturday, leaving Sunday morn-nfor his home. While here he was a guest at the A. M. odd home. Norman Dennis spent the week-enwith his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Syerl Dennis, returning Sunday to Salt Lake City, where he is employed. Members of the Friday Bridge club were guests of Mrs. W. H. Among those from Myton attending the reception at the American Legion hall in Roosevelt Thursday evening honoring Mr. and Mrs. Ray Summarell were Mrs. Guy Taylor and daughter, Guy la Rae, Min Mildred Tanner, Miss Glenda Nielson, Miss Twila Nielson, and Miss Flora Thompson.
