Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Burton, Mr. and Mrs. George Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Laron Bcckstead, A. M. Burton and Mrs. Phyllis Brotherson. Mr. Ashby and Miss Poulson, state supervisors of the school lunch program, visited the local school last week. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hill entertained Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Anderson at a chicken supper one evening last week. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Tidwell, of Price, are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Chase McDonald. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Burton, of Lehi, were weekend guests of relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Jensen went to Salt Lake during the week to visit Joseph Jensen, who is hospitalized there with a serious heart ailment. Leon and Steve Brown, of Huntington, and Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Forbush, of Wellington, were guests at the Donohue home last weekend. A crowd from here attended the Gold and Green ball at Saturday. Mrs. Delia Mayhew and family, of Utahn, visited Mr. and Mrs. Wayne McDonald, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Keith McDonald, of Duchesne, spent the weekend here. Al-tamo- Mrs. Thelma Nye Several Tabiona people attended the missionary farewell at the Hanna ward house, Thursday, honoring Floyd Moon, who will leave soon to fill a mission to the Central Atlantic states for the LDS church. President and M.rs. Hale Holgate and Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Gilbert, of the Duchesne Stake Presidency were present. Mr. Moon is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Moon. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Clark were hosts at a Canasta party at their home Wednesday evening. Earl VanTassell underwent a major operation in the Salt Lake LDS hospital, Friday. His wife accompanied him to Salt Lake, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William VanTassel, motored in to see him Saturday. Mrs. Bernell Rhoades submitted to an operation in the Haber hospital during the week. The Tabiona school teachers attended the training meetings in Roosevelt Friday and Saturday. The school cooks also attended meetings in Roosevelt. The Tabiona Ward Seagull Girls enjoyed a breakfast they prepared at the home of their teacher, Mrs. Linda Carter. They also had a lesson in bandaging, and enjoyed relay teaching games, which are part of the Seagull program. Mrs. Carter reports all seven of the girls have already completed most of the requirements necessary for graduation, and are to be commended for their efforts.
