Mrs, Dallas Ames 7th to Mr. and Mrs. Maynard C. Agneu, of Brewster, Kansas. Mrs. Agneu, the former Grace Johanson, is Mrs. Ames sister. Mr. and Mrs. Art Mohlman and family, of Salt Lake City, visited Mr. Mohlmans parents, Mr, and Mrs. E. M. Mohlman, and his brothers, Glen and Ferrell, last week. Mrs. Delbert Shiner returned Tuesday from Salt Lake City, where she has been staying with her daughter, Mrs. Jean Fisher, who has been in a hospital there for some time. Mrs. Fisher has been released from the hospital and is expected to return home soon, Mr. and Mrs. George Carroll announce the arrival of a baby girl, born August 11th in the Roosevelt hospital. Clarence Smith spent the weekend in Duchesne with his and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Arvel Stone, and then went on to St. George for a few days. The Wolfe Creek bus has begun operating between Altonah and Salt Lake City once a week, leaving Altonah Sundays at 2:35 p. m. and leaving Salt Lake at 1:00 p. m. Fifty members of last years graduating classes will comprise the two squads which will be divided into north and south teams. Jim Lookabaugh, coach of Oklahoma A. & M., will coach the North eleven, while Howard Odell, head coach at Yale University will have charge of the South squad. Lookabaugh (will have three quarterbacks of top calibre in Kenneth Nielsen of Box Elder, Cleon Hodges of North Cache, and Tony Christopolis of Salt Lake West High. Halfbacks on the North squad are Ben Glover of Box Elder, Norris Johansen of Morgan and Bill Boren of Bingham. The fullback section includes Non Johnson of Box Eller, Jack Knudsen of Bingham, Jack Perkins, Davis, and Verl Duerden of West High. In the line for the North will be centers John Haacke of Davis, Gary Theurer of South Cache and Marvin Pullam of Bingham; guards: Earl Lloyd of West, Bob Palmquist of Murray, Hal Davis son visited in Bluebell Friday.
