Gentry Word was received Friday that Eliza Mrs. Ethel Beebe in Ioka Farnsworth, mother of Mrs J B Lemon, passed away in Duchesne. Mrs. Farnsworth came from Coalville several years ago and made her home in Ioka with her daughter. The body was taken to Coalville for funeral services and interment was in Coalville cemetery. Mrs Bruce Calder of Moon Lake spent Thursday with her daughter, Mrs Garret Stone. Mr and Mrs Devon Gentry and children of Myton were visiting Mr and Mrs Tom Gentry Wednesday evening. Mrs Zina Krebs of Ogden announced the marriage of her daughter, Elom, to Donald Mars-in- g of Duchesne, August 29. Mrs Laird McConkie entertained at a party Saturday night for her niece, Miss Colleen Robinson, who has been staying with her during the summer. Colleen left on Sunday for her home In Roosevelt where she will enter school. They brought their infant son here to have him named at church services on 'Sunday. Jeff Wall of Orem was transacting business here Suriday, Dal Stone and his mother, Mrs A O Stone, came In from Lehi Sunday morning to bring Mr and Mrs Arvil G Stone and Infant son. The latter Mr Stone is a teacher at the Altamont elementary school. He and his family are making their home for the present with Mrs Stones parents, Mr and Mrs Clarence Smith at Mrs A O Stone and Altonah. Dal visited during the day with Mr and Mrs Floyd Case. Miss Laura Farnsworth was In Mountain Home shopping last Saturday. Mr and Mrs Charles Fietkau and daughter, Beverly, were in Roosevelt last Saturday. John Thompson, who Is in the army medical corps, is home on furlough. Mr and Mrs Ralph McMullln and family of Indian Bench spent a few days last week visiting In Mountain Home. Mr and Mrs Jack Bleazard and Mrs Lissie Kofford made a trip to Roosevelt with Curt Kofford who broke his arm in two places. He is said to be getting along fine. O J Andersen was taken to the Holy Cross hospital at Salt Lake last Friday In a critical condition. Mr and Mrs Ralph McMullln, Mrs A J Andersen, Dell Andersen and Mrs Roy Farnsworth accompanied him. Mrs. Andersen and Mrs. Farnsworth remained in Salt Lake while the others returned home. Alice Andersen, who had been in Salt Lake for the past three weeks, returned home with them.
