Mrs. Helen Poulson was in town on business Friday. Egyptians Method ot Embalming There were various methods em ployed by the Egyptians in embalming. The processes were quite elaborate. According to Herodotus, the internal organs of the body were removed, after which it was steeped for 70 days in strong solution of natron, a mixture of salt, saltpetre and sodium sulphate.
