Class Leaders Entertained Last Wednesday evening, officers of the Fourth ward Relief Society entertained at a delightful party in compliment to Mrs. Morilla L. Spencer, Esther R, Brown and Mrs. Caro- line J. Christensen, former class leaders in the society, and who have been released. The party was held at the home of Mrs. Spencer. The time was spent in playing contest games and the rendition of a program which caused much merriment, as those taking part imitated children. Prizes were won by Mrs. Elizabeth Wright, Hattie Johnson and Esther Brown. Luncheon was served at the card tables and the place cards and luncheon were in keeping with St. Valentines day, and small American flags were given as favors. In attendThere were twenty-eigance. Coe, horticulturist of the Utah State Agricultural College, will give two fruit tree pruning demonstrations In Box Elder county. The first one will be held in the Brigham Chty district at 9:30 a. m and the second one in Willard at 1:30 p. m. A few orchards that have been damaged badly from past winter freezes, and some young orchards will be visited so that every fruit grower will have an opportunity to get some very valuable suggestions. All fruit men and women and others Interested, are invited to attend one or more of these demonstrations. The crowd at Brigham City are asked to meet at the county Court House, and the crowd at Willard please meet at the northeast corner of the school grounds. The Queen will be crowned by Mayor J. Wesley Horsley and presented a gift at 11 : 30 oclock. Already the committee in charge of the festival is in receipt of a communication calling for pictures of the Snow Queen for the leading press syndicates of the United States. So the pretty young Miss chosen, will be given wide publicity and Brigham City itself will be very favorably advertised. The Queen will be selected by popular vote, as each admission will carry 100 votes, and the votes announced every half hour.
