At 7 oclock the family lunch baskets were surrounded and was one of the evenings features. The spacious, lighted lawn made an attractive spot for the program which followed under the direction of Norm Watkins. The numbers were group singing, Old Black Joe;" violin solo, Ruth Romer, accompanied by Morilla Spencer; comic reading by Wlnnifred Hansen; girls chorus of thirty voices Trees; singing grand opera (in burlesque) followed by two character dances; chorus, Sorta Miss You" and In the Time of Roses." Stunts completed a jolly evening. Several hundred members of the ward attended. Names of Donors to Be Published Soon At the regular meeting of the board of governors of the Box Elder commercial club and chamber of commerce last evening, it was determined, upon recommendation of the Merchants Committee, that names of contributors to merchants and club projects would be published in the local press as an honor roll. In accordance with this policy, the Peach days committee was instructed to publish the names of all Peach days contributors in such an honor roll on September 1st, and at regular intervals thereafter, adding the names of those who come in from iday to day. v Garage and Car Are Damaged By Blaze jmatoes re Tuesday night at about 11:30 oclock, fire of unknown origin badly damaged the garage and a Ford car on the premises of Ernest R. Lee, manager of the local telephone exchange. The loss was estimated at between $300 and $400. The quick response of the local fire department saved the garage and car from complete destruction and prevented the flames from spreading to the home near the garage. Heres One Good PAGE THREE IB!
