Cooley, son of Dr. and Mrs. A D. Cooley of this city, who died Sunday. Arrangements were made to hold the services at the Fourth ward chapel, but on account of the very large attendance they were held at the Third ward chapel. The floral tributes were profuse and beautiful. Bishop A M. Hansen presided and ap; organ prelude was given by Dale Waynesgaard. Invocation was offered by Patriarch Brigham Wright. The musical program included a selection by the choir, Just Why I Suffer Loss I Cannot Know, with C. Elias Jensen as soloist; two selections by the Bee Tee quartet, Abide With Me and Nearer My God To Thee;" a vocal solo, O Rest In the Lord, by Mrs. L. A. When information of her illness was received here Sunday, her mother, Mrs. Simeon Carter, and her sisters, Mrs. Heber D. Stokes and Mrs. Z. W. Earl, together with Mr. Eari and their eon Wynn, left Im mediately for Lob Angeles. Mrs. Carter was born in Brigham City fifty years ago, a daughter of Simeon and Ellen Sheffield Carter. Her father died a number of years ago. She grew to womanhood in this city and after her marriage to Mr. Wallace resided here and in other parts of the state until about twelve years ago, when the family moved to Los Angeles. Her husband died three years ago. She was an active mem ber of the L. D. S. church. Surviving are five sons, Roland, Vernon, Ira, Thales and Clyde Wal lace, all of Los Angeles; also her mother and several sisters.
