Aa a whole, according to Miner M.. Justin, agricultural statistician for the bureau, tho production figures in Utah are In bearing out the. original estimates. commenting on tho report, Mr. Justin saver The estimated average yield of Utah spring wheat this vear is twenty-si- x bushels per acre. This is practically the same as last year. The total crop of both winter and spring wheats amounts to 5,588,000 bushels this season, com- -pared with 6,200,000 bushels last year. more "Oats are yielding somewhat heavily this year than last, and the acreage Is also larger. This years outturn promises to oe 3.815,000 bushels, or 15per cent larger than last year. "Barley is making the same yield as last year, but a larger acreage means about 100,000 bushel more grain.
