A splendid celebration of Pioneer Day la being planned by the various organisations of Palmyra Stake, to be held at Spanish Fork on Tuesday, July 2Dh. A meeting tf the executive officer of the various Slake organizations was held Monday evening at tho Seminary and the arrangements were considered at length and approved. , Proceeds of the celebration will be placed In the Stake Tabernacle fund. ; An outline of the program for the day Includes a aalute of guns at daybreak and the hoisting of the flag at sunrise. A band concert wll be held at the City Park at 8:30 a. ni.. to he followed by a parade at 9 a. in. on Main Street. It Is expected that all floats for the parade wll be furnished by the various ward and stake organizations. A program at the City Pavilion will follow the parade, aud from 1:30 to 2 p. in., the band will entertain at the City Park. A good program of sports will be conducted at the race track beginning at 2 p. m., and cbildrenV sports and races will be conducted at the City Park at 3:30 p.m. The band will furnish another concert from 5:30 to 6:30 p. m. and the Primary organization will put on a pageant at the City Park from 6:J!0 to 8 p.m. The following chairmen have been chosen to take care of the worlc of C.M. the celebration: Advertising Jacobsen; Parade, Wells T.
