Forter, lieutenant commander 1 the naval and the man that Herbert Hoover detailed for the work of rebuilding French and Belgian villages, and whose death occurred recently at Springdale, , Pa., continues to be paid, according to the letters and telegrams which Mrs. Forter Is receiving here. Mrs. Forter came to Ogden today with her sister, Mrs. Hugh M. Bo we, with whom she will visit for a number of . weeks. Mrs. Forter was formerly Miss Luctle Tavey of Ogden. The letters of tribute to the memory of Samuel Forter have been received from Herbert Hoover, secretary of commerce, and W. B Poland, vice chairman of the comm lesion for the relief he Belgium, and of which Hoover 1e the ehalrman. In his letter to Mrs. Forter, Secretary Hoover said: I have Just learned of tho sudden death of your husband with groat sorrow.
