The Grand County Soil Conservation District Board is a political subdivision of the State of Utah. The board serves as a critical link between local resource concerns and agencies with the technical and financial resources to address local concerns. Supervisors are responsible to identify and prioritize local resource concerns and develop a plan of action aimed at addressing concerns. Disability Law Center meets with rural communities in Utah On Thursday, June 24, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., representatives from the Disability Law Center will meet with community mem- bers at the City Hall Council Chambers (125 East Center Street). On Friday, June 25, from 10 to 11 a.m., they will meet in the Blanding Library (25 West 300 South) in Blanding. The Disability Law Center is meeting with people with disabilities and their families who live in rural communities in all Utah counties. They need input on what services are most needed in these areas, and what are the best ways to deliver these services. Community input will be used to design programs. The DLC is also looking for community interest in creating a local advisory committee. The DLC is an organization that provides free legal services to people with disabilities. They help fight discrimination, abuse of people in institutions, and advocate for people with disabilities so they get the services they need.
