Everyone who goes out into the desert and canyon country knows that there will be times when one needs to ask help from others. The Moab Bike Patrol gets help from anyone it can. Everyone enjoyed the visit, and even managed to survive Grand Bethels judging of the meeting. Rally practices continued all the way to April 2, the opening of Grand Rally in Salt Lake City. Grand Rally is an annual gathering of Utahs Jobies and visitors from around the world. Friendships are made or renewed, contests are held, and new leadership is installed. Moab was very again this year. On Friday, April 16, Bethel No. 8 members helped serve at a dinner for the Order of Eastern Star Colorado fund-raisin- g Utah Exchange and at a fund- raising breakfast the next morning. Saturday, May 1, Jobies assisted the members of Arches Shrine Club at a fund-raisin- dinner held at g the Moab Elks Lodge. On Sunday, May 9, members again served at the Elks Lodge Mothers Day Brunch. Regular meetings will con- tinue until June 16, when the Bethel goes dark for the summer. activities will continue throughout the summer, as members work to raise the money needed to attend the 2004 Supreme Rally in Casper, Wyoming. This is a unique opportunity to meet Jobies from around the world and members are looking forward to the trip.
