Mary and Lloyd moved to Moab in 1971 where Mary took a great deal of pleasure working in her yard and garden, much to the benefit of others-who shared her gardens bounty. The same was true of her craftwork. Mary embroidered, painted, beaded, sewed, made stuffed animals, and fi- nally found her niche in counted-cros- s stitch. Every time she entered one of her creations in the Grand County Fair she won top ribbons. Again her generosity shined; everything she made was with someone in mind, and she gave freely of her wonderful talents. Mary is sadly missed by her sister Margaret; her children; Michael, Louis, and Laura; her grandchildren, Michelle, Tiffiny, Brant, Liv, and Luke, and Sammy, William, Sidney, Colby, and Coy.
