Grant preceded her in death on July 17, 1971. Born March 22, 1918 to Issac and Lucy Carmichael in Wetumka, OK, she met and married Ancil LeRoy (Roy) Dickson in Grand Junction, Colo., in 1935. Roy preceded her in death after 65 years of marriage on Oct. 10, 2001. During her 85 years, Cecil worked at St. Marys Hospital in Grand Junction and later in hospitals in Santa Cruz, Calif.
