Parents with children enrolled at Hill Field Elementary School should fill these cards out and return them to the school. Federal Impact Aid funds replace some of the lost local property tax revenues. When the government owns properties such as Hill AFB, no property taxes are received. The district is still required to provide an education for federally impacted students who live on base or whose parents work on base. Approximately 97 percent of the students at Hill Field Elementary live on base and neither the parent nor the federal government pays local property taxes.
