They are Walter Davis, Cassidy Every, Amber Benson and Reuben Farnsworth. Conan the Barbarian is Walter Davis' favorite computer game. Walter also likes to hang out at the local junk yard, because he likes collecting junk. Presents donation . ; . . Palma Jacobs, left, President of the Women's Literary Qub, and Irene Harding, Treasurer of the club, right, presented Tim Sheets, Parks Leadman for the City of Moab, with a $500 check for the construction costs of the bandstand designed by Tim at the New City Park. Tim says the bandstand cement work should be finished by the end of this week. The large boulders were donated by Glen Holyoak. The $500 check was a combination of funds donated by The Women's Literary Club, Red Rock Alpha Rho Sorority, Ramada Inn, Order of Eastern Star, and Century 21 Quality Realty. Tim would like to thank all these businesses and organizations for their contributions. More funds are needed to finish the bandstand and can be made by sending a check made to the Women's Literary Club, co Irene , Harding, 584 Huntridge, Moab. ; Walter crossed the Colorado Bridge four years ago coming from Casper, Wyoming. "We're sure glad he did because he is a really great guy," the teachers. His teachers think he is an excellent student and that says a lot for Walter. He was chosen Student of the Month because he is a very Fine young man with a lot of good qualities. Walter is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Davis. Cassidy Every, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Every, was chosen as student of the month by Mr. Olsen, her AIA teacher. Cassidy has attended Red Rock Elementary, Helen M. Knight In termediate and now Grand County Middle School. Outside of school Cassidy enjoys taking care of animals, dancing and shopping. Amber Benson, daughter of Mr. and mrs. Darrell Benson, was chosen as one of the students of the moth by her 8th grade teachers. Her homeroom teacher said she is always prepared, very kind, and shes an all around good student Amber likes hunting, fishing and all kinds of outdoor sports. She has lived in Moab all her life, but was bom in Salt Lake City. Before going to GCMS she went to Southeast Elementary, Red Rock and HMK. Reuben Farnsworth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Doug Farnsworth, was bom in Moab and has lived here all of his life. Reuben has attended Red Rock Elementary, HMK and is now at the GCMS. His teachers say that he is a willing and hard worker and does everything that his teachers ask him to do. ! State legislators will speak at Moab meet Anyone interested in how legislation to be discussed during the upcoming session of the Utah State Legislature will affect Grand County will want to attend the November 21 meeting of the League of Women Voters of Grand County, according to League President Susan Judy Scott conducted the meeting. The group made final plans for their Annual Christmas Fair which will be held November 23rd at the Green River Sr. Citizens Building.
