Gregory charged that Mayor Jacobs had told her that as the adjacent residents did not live in the city, they had no say in how the park should be run. Councilmen Dave White and Keith Brewer recommended that disciplinary action be taken against the caretakers. Councilman Marjorie Tomsic stated that she felt that the caretakers should be contacted to get their side of the story. The Council briefly discussed holding a public hearing to discuss a city annexation plan. McClure stressed that the hearing would not concern specific areas of annexation, but an overall plan for future development. A date for the hearing has not yet been set. The Council also agreed to Hold a public hearing during their regular meeting on April 7 to review a water purchase agreement with the Spanish Valley Water Conservancy District.
