Many students that went to the dance had different opinions about it. Christy Every said, I like going to a dance when people are dressed up instead of looking like bums. Monty Guerrero said, The dance was boring, but the party afterwards was great! For the most part the dance was a big success and most had a great time. Its too bad that most didnt take advantage of it. The opinion of most is there needs to be more of these kinds of dances! These are the key signs that are beginning to appear throughout the Moab area and giving its residents a preview of the outstanding summer that waits ahead. With the warm weather over the past few days, the people of Moab are beginning to wear less and less warm clothing. Ted Snow, said, I traded my snow boots in for a pair of thongs! People also do many more outdoor activities. Tricia Johnston made the remark, Its time to hitch up the ole ten speed and ride it till the wheels fall off! They also seem to have an increased level of excitement and restlessness. Carol Yee said, Spring is the time when my family and I travel, which is absolutely great! All of these behaviors are nothing more than an overdue case of Spring Fever! Every person has their own reason for wanting spring to hurriedly arrive. With some, like freshman Tony Martin, they are anxious for spring to arrive so that they can throw off their jackets and go and do whatever sounds fun! Other people have different ideas about what spring means. Paul Shafer said, Spring is a sure reminder that the school year is almost over! It is obvious that spring is one of the most anxiously awaited seasons of the year. As summer gets closer, the effects will become less noticeable and all that will be left of the past winter are the humorous memories of the seasons ski trips, your broken leg, and several hundred dollars worth of doctor bills, which will get paid just in time to have another water skiing accident! We are the helpless victims of a yearly cycle that has us in its trap. Although if the truth was known, that cycle is actually a severe case of the dreaded Spring Fever! minutes west 528 ft. to the point of beginning. DATED THIS 19th day of February, 1985.
