England's premier a cappella vocal ensemble, will be in concert at Abravanel Hall in Salt Lake City on April 16. The program will include Hen-ry- k Gorecki's Totus tuus. early French madrigals, Celtic folk songs, and German songs of the Romantic era plus, of course, a set of the ensemble's trademark, arrangements of some popular favorites. Curtain time is 8 p.m., and tickets ($17, $21, $27 and $34) may be reserved through the box office. (801) close-harmo- 533-NOT- E. The concert marks the group's third appearance in Utah in the past two years and the only one scheduled in the state this year. The King's Singers performed two nights at Brigham Young University in January 1994 and last Christmas with the Utah Symphony. Baritone Philip Law son is one of the newer members of the group. He and countertenor Nigel Short replaced the last two original members of the old group about two years ago and sang in the most recent Utah performances.
