Show MISS JOAN RASMUSSEN IS OCTOBER BRIDE Kay Edwards claimed Miss Joan Rasmussen for his bride in ceremonies cere-monies performed Monday morning, morn-ing, October 8, in the Logan Temple. Tem-ple. That evening a reception was held in their honor at West Jordan Stake House. Parents of the bridal couple are Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Rasmussen of West Jordan and Mr. and Mrs. Ferrell Edwards, Midvale. For the nuptial events, the bride wore a lovely gown of white lace over taffeta. Attending the bride were Deon Rasmussen, maid of honor; Claudia Butterfield, Cathy Culbertson and Karen Edwards, bridesmaids. Delsa Rasmussen and Janet Edwards were junior bridesbaids and tiny Norma Ann Rasmussen was flower girl. David Merchant stood as best man for the groom, and Ruel Rasmussen Ras-mussen and Clair Rasmussen, uncles of the bride, were ushers. , Orchid and yellow were the colors col-ors used throughout in decorations. The couple plan to leave this week to live in Illinois, where the groom is stationed with the air force. Bingham-Midvale Lady Eagles met last Wednesday night at the Eagles hall in Midvale. A regular meeting was held after which five hundred and bingo was enjoyed. Prizes were won by Mrs. Mae West, first; Mrs. Diana Dispenza, second; Mrs. Carrie Doyle, consolation and Mrs. Pete Smith, bingo. John Davis of Murray, American Legion District 8 commander, is delegate and representing all posts in Salt Lake County at the national American Legion convention this week at Las Vegas, Nev. Visitors last Sunday a tthe home of Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Dellagnola and family of Midvale were Mr. and Mrs. Pete Stalliviere of Tooele. Mr. and Mrs. K. Verl Stewart of Kearns and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Her-man Sanderson of Copperton spent last week end at Jackpot, Nev. Mrs. Alice Brisk of Midvale returned re-turned last Sunday night from an enjoyable month's visit with relatives rela-tives and friends in Denver, Colo.
