Show THE DAILY HERALD, Provo, Utah, Sunday, November I. Page A2 Talk about ghouls: Tuesday's going to be a very special day : Pieces of Butterfinger are stuck to the couch. Our teeth ache; our eyes are red. We're smiling. We're comfortably numb in bliss, wiped rushout from the near-lethes of sugar and adrenaline. post-Hallowe- But something scary this way comes. It's called Kids Voting, and it gets children involved in the electoral process before they become too jaded. A special pat on the back goes to Novell, Linda Linfield and a handful of other super citizens for their extraordinary effort in bringing Kids Voting to Utah Valley. An observation about my fellow Democrats: While this certainly doesn't apply to all of you Utah County candidates, I've heard more whining from your quarters than from the masses of Republicans who so dramatically outnumber you. One gent says to another, "You know so. Is he LDS?" Replies the other well- dressed gent, "Heavens, no. He's a Democrat." I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't heard it myself.
