The membership organization offers seniors discounts, educational events and fun activities such as AARP Night at the Buzz and other social gatherings. AARP also offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities to help others in the comnon-prof- it munity. In 1999, AARP in Utah has been working on issues that include health and long-tercare, economic security, work and life transitions, independent living, and personal enrichment. Utah activities: AARP's Connections for Independent Living program is working to help people stay in their homes and live independently through partnerships with community agencies and organizations throughout the state.
