He was born November 14, 1926 in St. Louis, Missouri to Luther George Forbes and Mildred Pelham. He is survived by his wife, Eva j-i-- (. Jl. He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy from Mississippi State University. He served 28 years in the Army as an Armored Calvary officer. He was a veteran of WWII, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. He retired as a colonel from the army and then became a real estate atfent in which he was very successful. Dennis was an avid supporter of BYU and belonged to the Cougar Club. He was a member of the LDS Church and served on the bishopric and also as services will be held on Tuesday. Barney Beckstead Barney, 80 of Payson, passed away Friday, January 22.1999 at her home. They thought that she was a wonderful sister. She married Lynn Johnson, December 24, 1937 in Springville, Utah. He was killed during World War U in 1943. She married Robert Done October 26, 1946 in Provo, , Barney, ,Utah. He preceded her in death, March 41964. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a seamstress and enjoyed crafts and sold many items that wfijnade in the shop at her home. She ' also, enjoyed her son's music. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-daSaints, and served as a visiting teacher and taught in Primary. Survivors include: her son, Robert Allan Barney, of Payson, and his fance, Annette Hales; 3 grandchildren, Courtney Barney, Christopher Barney, and Hillary Barney; 2 greatgrandchildren, Trinnaty and Kittyara Barnes; a brother and 3 sisters, Robert M. Beckstead, Springville; Zella Penrod, San Diego, CA.; Pat Dalley, Spanish Fork; and Verlene Wheeler, of Payson.
