They were married Feb. 6, 1943, in Detroit, Mich. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Their children are Linda Rosen; Kathi Humberstane, Andrea Hall, Merrilee Boyack and Chris Browne. Of the companies surveyed that hire retirees, 36 percent had retirees in management positions. 40 percent had some retirees in professional positions and 28 percent employed some older workers in technical positions. The larger the companies, the more likely they were to hire retirees into upper-leve- l jobs, Hirshorn said. !!
