Show 04 HERALD DAILY Tuesday, July 24, 2007 Obituaries Elaine Bullock Fielding Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Elaine Bullock Fielding, 83, passed from this life on July U, ZIJ07, alter a short but valiant battle with cancer. Her family was at her bedside when she passed away. Elaine was born in Orem. Utah on Nov. 10, 1923, the third child of Virgil William and Nancy Nellie Burr Bullock. She was raised in Provo, and attended Provo High School, graduating in 1942. She married her sweetheart, Keith Fielding, June 19, 1946, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. As a married couple they lived in Provo, where their first child was born. They then moved to Vernal, Utah, where they lived for nine years and added two children. Next they moved to Fresno, Calif , where their last child was born, Nearly 25 years later, they returned to Orem to care for their aging parents and to "come home". Elaine was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-daSaints, serving in many leadership positions, Her favorite calling was as a temple worker, and y Jean Stansfield Johnson she served in the Provo and Mt. Timpanogos Temples for 13 years before declining health forced her to resign. She is loved greatly and will be sorely missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 61 years; four children, Barbara Thompson, Orem, Russell Keith Fielding, Clovis, CA, Patricia (David) John, Vernal, and Marilee (Robert) Davis, Fountain Green; 15 grandchildren and 5 two brothers, Gale Bullock, Orem, and Richard Bullock, Sandy; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Grant Bullock and Monte Bullock; and her only sister, Gappmayer. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2007, at 11:00 a.m., at the Lakeview 2nd Ward Chapel, 1750 South 400 West, Orem, Utah. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 Mortup.m. at the Sundberg-Olpiary, 495 South State Street, Orem, and at the ward chapel from 10 to 10:45 a.m., preceding the funeral services. Interment will be at the Orem City Cemetery. The family would like to thank Ruth and Heidy of Hearts for Hospice for the loving care given to Mom during her illness, and for the support given to the family. We know Mom was in the best hands.
