Show along with other girl from other vards in Riverton Stake left laat Thursday for Woodland where they pent a few day at the MIA Girl Home. There the girl enjoyed horseback riding, crafts, hiking, etc. An enjoyable time wai had by all. The girla returned home last Saturday. Sat-urday. Mr. and Mr. David L. Peterson of Medford, Ore., arrived last Friday Fri-day to visit until July with Mrs. Zelma Peterson. A family birthday party was held in honor of Karen Foist, daughter f Mr. and Mrs. Robert Foist on June 29. LARK NEWS Marilyn Dalley, PR 4-2789 Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bigler visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Bigler and family of Heber. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Fahrni and family of Kearns visited with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Fahrni Thursday. While there they enjoyed enjoy-ed a barbecued dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Benton Boyd and family moved recently to their new home on Holladay Blvd. in Salt Lake City. House guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Benton Boyd is his sister, Mrs. Martha Wilder from Pittsburgh, Pitts-burgh, Pa. Last Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bigler, Sharron and Vivian Ellis of Salt Lake City and Robyn and Kent Peterson went to Lagoon where they enjoyed themselves and had fun. Visitors of Mrs. Zelma Peterson were Mr. and Mrs. George Ciral and daughters, Rosemary and Georgine. Mrs. Jack Crewmen left last Wednesday Wed-nesday to attend the wedding of her nephew, Billy Kilt of Long Beach, Calif. Mr. Kilt was married last Saturday. Mrs. Gressmen is expected to return home tomorrow or the next day. There will be no Mutual next week or no Primary for the next two weeks, it was announced this week. Primary will start in two weeks on Friday at 1 :00 p.m. They arrived last Sunday and stayed stay-ed until Wednesday. Lark Ward Beehive class enjoyed a picnic up Butterheld Canyon Wednesday vnder the guidance of thciir teacher, Mrs. Fred Fahrni. They cooked their own dinner at Second Springs. Those enjoying the outing were Shirlene Garcia, Kathy Moulton, Barbara Jo Neilsen, Linda Edvards, Cheryl Ann Mair and Ruth Rasmussen. Mrs. Robert Foist and family of Lark and Mr. and Mrs. Guy Beck-strom Beck-strom and Mr. and Mrs. LeGrand Beckstrom of West Jordan recently enjoyed fishing and camping at Deer Creek Reservoir after which they went to Luke's Hot Pots near Midway and enjoye dawimming and lunch. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bigler attended attend-ed the funeral of his uncle, Bern Huffaker at Midway Tuesday. While in Midway they also visited with Miss Margaret Murdock. Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Fahrni and family were Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Fahrni and Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Perry. Several girls from Lark Ward |
