Estevez concentrates on luxurifabrics throughous, out the collection with a preference for unusual fabric mixes and silk velvet used as trim. His choices: the finest wools in flannel, gabardine, jersey, faille, ottoman and crepe and silks in eharmeuse, crepe, velvet, lame and satin. Important accents include lace and embroidery as well as fur trims in sable and natural silver fox. The color story for FallWinter 1985 is a vibrant palette in shades of emerald green, purple, scarlet, shocking pink, cobalt blue, winter coral, taupe and gray, all combined with black. Estevez favors vivid combinations of navy mxied with emerald and red mixed with purple as well as his signature black and white combinations.
