Show IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT Ruth Claire Kidd PR 4-2704 Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Henry A. Cheever visited at the homes of Mr. and Air. John L. Anderon and Mrs. Morgan Anderson all of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cowdell were dinner guests at the home of Mr. end Mrs. Eldon Anderson of Provo Sunday. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Louis De-Col De-Col visited with Mrs. Mary Densley and children and Mr. and Mrs. Keith DeCol and family of Kearn and later enjoyed dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Duane Shults and son, Scott, of Salt Lake City. Helping Gary Cheever, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Cheever of Granger, celebrate his llth birthday Wednesday Wed-nesday were his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry A. Cheever. Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Foster Tuesday evening were their daughter and son in law, Mr. and Mr. Grant Pullan and ion, Wayne, of Midvale. Mr. and Mr. Clarence Johnson Suzanne Greene PR 4-2224 and children, Carol Lynn and Tommy, Tom-my, returned home Monday evening even-ing after spending a five day vacation vaca-tion at Sun Valley, Idaho. Mr. nnd Mrs. Verio Kend rick and family and Mr. and Mrs. Ross Crushing Crush-ing were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Householder Jr. of West Jordan. Visiting later with the fumilies were Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Bell of Sandy. Mr. and Mrs. Henry A. Cheever viaited Tuesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Rager and family in West Jordan. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold K. Parry entertained recently at their home in Kearns in honor of Mrs. Ross Palmer's birthday anniversary. Other Oth-er guests were Mr. Palmer and children, Grant, Lynn, Paul, Stuart, Keith, Dennis and Jenae of South Jordan, Mr. and Mrs. George Parry of Herriman and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Ray-mond La r sen and daughter Lois, of Copperton. Visiting Friday and Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Ben McAllister and family were Mr. and Mrs. David White of Logan. Misses Nancy Crellin and Peggy Blake entertained recently with a kitchen grocery shower at the Crellin home in compliment to Miss Bonnie Marker, late August bride-elect. bride-elect. Table games were played and a bride's scrapbook was made. Besides Be-sides the honor guest and hostes those present were Linda Goldberg, Claudia Murano, Marion Murano, Linda Long, Linda Smcrnoff, Pearl Milner, Colleen Harker, Montez Hansen, Lynne Johnston, Barbara Holt, Carol Rees, Ruth Osbourne, Mrs, Eileen Jacobson, Mrs. Ruby Crellin and Mrs. Melba Harker. Lovely refreshments were served and the honoree received many lovely gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Jensen spent Saturday, Sunday and Monday at their summer home in Kamas. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Long and daughter, Claudia, returned home Friday from a very enjoyable week vacation in Los Angeles, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Jones of Salt Lake City were guests of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Snow Friday evening. Visitors Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Olscn were Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Beckstead and child ren, Gary, Glenn and Steve, and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Miller and children, Scott and Konnie Kae. Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Snow attended the Redd family reunion held at Mill Creek Canyon. Mrs. Gladys Harrison of Logan visited Thursday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. S. Brown. Mr. and Mrs. Don Stoddard Jr. of Kearns were dinner guests at the home of Mrs. J. D. Stoddard and son, Jimmy, last Friday. Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Florence Schick were Mrs. Vivian Schick of Holladay, Mr. and Mrs. Del Schick and children, Julie Ann and Jan Maurine, and Tommy Mc-Neilis. Mc-Neilis. Karen Hatfield of West Jordan spent Monday and Tuesday as guest of Christine Winn. Ruth Claire Kidd and Suzanne Greene returned home Monday morning from a very enjoyable two weeks' vacation in Whitticr, Calif., as quests of Mr. and Mrs. Siggie Ruiz and family. Mrs. Carrie Doyle was hostess to the monthly meeting of the W.B.A. Monday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Verl Peterson of Copperton. A business meeting was held after which bridge was played. Prizes were won by Mrs. Edna Ja-cobsen, Ja-cobsen, first; Mrs. Melba Harker, second; and Mrs. Heber Nichols, consolation and bingo. Other members mem-bers present were Mrs. Pete Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Prothero and family, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Tolley and family aand Mr. and Mrs. David Prothero and ion, all of SpringviJle were guests Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. S. Brown. Guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Cochran and family, fa-mily, Cheryl and Bobby, were Mr. and Mrs. Nick Yengich of White City, Sandy. Mrs. Charles Winn, Mrs. Elva Jensen and Mrs. Bernice Foster attended at-tended a stork shower Thursday in honor of Mrs. Jack Jensen. |
