Show SPRING IS HERE I Spring is here, I can't be wrong, I heard it in a wee ibird's song, An Easter Anthem, it seemed to me, And a Red Ant, climbed Our sycamore tree. I saw spring In a lazy breeze That caressed and stirred The sleepy trees, Then awakened the branches from their trance, And rocked, and rolled in a sprightly dance. I saw spring In the vaulted sky, In the pools of blue As the clouds passed by, I felt the warm and comforting cheer, From the sun, as it whispered, "Spring is here". Mrs. Jane Spendlove |
