Show Friday, April Interior Secretary Will Visit Kaiparowits By PETER GILLINS SALT LAKE CITY (UPI) -At the request of Gov. Calvin Rampton and other Utah officials, U.S. Interior Secretary Thomas Kleppe has agreed to visit the Kaiparowits Plateau before deciding if a massive power plant may be built there. Sen. Frank E. Moss. said Kleppe accepted an from the state invitation Thursday and will make the trip about April 20. A spokesman for Moss said Kleppe will make an aeriel and ground inspection of the proposed site for the Kaiparowits Power Plant before decid-iwhether he will accept or reject plans to build it. n Rampton sent a telegram to Kleppe Thursday urging him to tour the proposed site near Lake Powell before issuing his decision.
