Christensen, legion Americanism chairman. Those selected were recommended by the high schools from the junior class to participate in Boys State activities at Utah State University for one week beginning June 1, and were then selected by the Legion Boys State Committee on the basis of their scholarship, leadership and interest and participation in community and school activities . Those chosen to attend Boys State are as James Edwards, son follows: Provo High of Mr. and Mrs. LaVell Edwards, Chris Jensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clayne Jensen, Camping Season In Full Swing Now The camping season is in full swing, and recreationists are being reminded by the Bureau of Land Management that four developed recreation sites in Utah managed by the bureau are fee sites for which reservations may be made. All other BLM sites in the state are operated on a "first-come- " basis. According to Larry Lee, BLM outdoor recreation planner, the fees are two dollars per day for individual and family use and $10 per SO people or portion thereof for reserved group use at the Price Canyon recreation area, Windwhistle campground, Red Cliffs campground and Calf Creek campground. Price Canyon recreation area is 15 miles north of Price on U.S. 50-- 6 (reservations are made at the Price BLM office). Windwhistle campground is a of the Canyon Rims Complex 22 miles north of Sirt on U.S.-16- 3 and then five miles west (reservations made at Monticello BLM office). Red Cliffs campground is four miles southwest of Leeds on an frontage road (reservations made at St. George BLM office). Calf Creek campground is 15 miles east of Escalante on 2 (reservations made at Escalante BLM office). A brochure listing the location, season of use and facilities at recreation sites in Utah is available free from any BLM office in the state. The theme of the conference is "The Second Public Health Revolution" which reflects the emphasis on preventive health in public health programs. According to Richard A. Sweet, UPHA president, the keynote address will be by Dr. James 0. Mason, Executive Director, State Department of Health. "Major topics during the two day conference will be on environmental health, Mormon genealogy as a new key to understanding disease, new directions in Utah's health care system, and a special presentation by public health officials from Canada on Lifestyle Change in Canada and Health Promotion in the Work Place," said Sweet. Activities for the conference include a health fair and various health promotional displays as well as a Fun Run-Jo- g and an Awareness Through Movement exercise session. During the awards luncheon on the 30th will be. several presentations to exceptional public health workers including the prestigious Beatty Award for outstanding achievement.
