Show Thursday, April 27, 0 T Students, Faculty Play Day On Saturday In Sociology Research t- v'-OUv- .v.- - - Several Biigham Young University students and faculty members will participate this summer in a special sociology research program funded by the National Science Foundation. The group, headed by Dr. Phillip Kunz of the Department of Sociology, will have IS student participants with forty percent coming from other schools. BYU was chosen as one of 207 i - AMERICAN FORK The American Fork Saddle Broncs, a riding club, is sponsoring a youth play day Saturday. The event will be at the Orem Riding Club arena. All boys and girls up to 18 years of age are invited to " 4-- "'.---7 fv will begin at 4 pjn. Saturday, with the grand entry scheduled for 5 pjn. The events for the evening will include a pony pleasure class, western pleasure, barrels, poles, and keyhole races. There will be a junior class for those 12 years ' of age and under and a senior class for participanty 13 to 18 years of age. Admission to the play day is free, but there will be a 50 cents entry free for each event. A special high-poitrophy will be awarded to the participant who accumulates the highest total number of points in all events. Tamara Tolman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orson D. Tolman, and Gary Chidesiof , scs of Mr. and Mrs. Wes Chidester, have been selected as queen and tang of the play day events. The Saddle Broncs Club was organized last September and has 20 active members.
