Cowley, Crump exchange vows , Following the ceremony, the couple will be honored at a wedding breakfast hosted by the groom's parents at Seaman James Bartley. A reception will follow that evening at the Seven Oaks The Rough Camp certification program is to teach survival skills. Hiking, crafts, maps, and compass reading were on the camp agenda. The theme of the outing was "Care Bears." The camp outing was under the direction of Lucy Howell, stake camp specialist. Lezlie Crump will serve the bride as maid of honor. Jalayne Turner, Lisa La Follette, Jana Lee Peterson, Michelle Sharp, Susie Eaton and Pat Cowley will . act as bridesmaids. Bob be will and Cowley Jerry the groom's best men. Ushers will be Shane Crump, Dan Howell, and Roger Meadows. The bride completed two years at Dixie College. The groom fulfilled an LDS mission in Anaheim, California. The couple are both employed by Allied Development. The bride has been honored at several bridal showers by family and friends. Pair exchanges Temple vows Carla Kae Ohrn, daughter of Mr and Mrs Kenneth Ohrn, Sandy, and Royal B.Stowe were united in marriage on Aug. 14, 1984 in the Jordan River LDS Temple. The couple was feted at a luncheon following the wedding at Log Haven hosted by the groom's parents, Mr and Mrs Ronald Stowe, Midvale. They were further honored at a garden reception at the home of the bride's parents in Sandy on Aug. 14 in the evening. Attending the bride were Lorri Ohrn, maid of honor; Debbie Stringham, Dianna Steck, and Robinne . School. The bride is a ' August rites Couple united in marriage - graduate of Utah Technical College of Nursing and works at LDS Hospital in the cardiovascular unit. The groom has completed an LDS mission to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He has attended the U of U and is currently attending Utah Technical College. Hanlon, West Jordan and Mr Vess Ross Beckstead, Kearns; and Ray F. Cordova, son of Mr and Mrs Raymond Cordova, West Jordan; will exchange wedding vows on Aug. 18, 1984 in a ceremony at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, West Jordan. The couple will be honored at a reception that same day at St. Theresa's Church hall, Midvale. Matilda Cordova and Shirley Martinez will serve the bride as maids of honor. Mrs Day, a former East Midvale resident, is the author of 3 books. During the meeting she gave a review of her third book, "Don't Trip on Your Clouds of Glory." While in Utah Mrs Day and her family were guests of her mother, Mrs Eunice G. Jensen. She also visited other relatives and friends in the area.
