An advance payment on the crop was made last November and an additional payment in April. A final set tlement will be made in October. Including the checks mailed Friday a total of $34,095,619 has been sent to growers in the U and I areas for 1968 crop sugar beets. It is a research and history writing class by people wanting to know their forefathers and ancestry. There are 50 members of the class including those from ages 10 to 75. Last Saturday evening they held a class at the Salt Lake archives which is open to those seeking information on their family. There are 15 teachers who have had some experience in family research and compilation of family histories. Principal teachers are Mr & Mrs Marvin Golding. Mrs Golding is a graduate archivist.
