Winning for best lead roles in a were Andy Graft of Taylorsville for an outstanding performance in the highly emotional role of Conrad in Ordinary People; and Murray's Kristen Anderson for her sensitive performance as Annie Sullivan in The Miracle Worker. Awards for best supporting roles in a musical went to Kelly Dehaan of Taylorsville as a charming Charlie Dalrymple in Brigadoon, and to Kearns high's Leslie Rollins for her riotous performance as the Queen in Once Upon A Mattress. dramatic triumph as Helen Keller in Murray high's The Miracle Worker. Awards for character roles in musicals were given Todd Richardson, Kearns, who presented a hilarious King in Once Upon A Mattress, and Amy Ipson, Granite high, who played the comedy role of Mabel in Pajama Game. There was a tie for the award for best character actor in a with presentations going to Brian Ard of Kearns for his role as the dour farmer, Mr. Kimball, in George Washington Slept Here; and to Todd Elledge of Cottonwood for Winning for support roles in were Taylorsville's Steve Schmid for his sympathetic portrayal of Dr. Berger in Ordinary People; and Erin Farley, for a ls 1 his role of Rev.
